Senior Hockey

Play - Compete - Belong

Whether you're returning to hockey, moving up from our junior program or trying the sport for the very first time, you'll find a welcoming community at Margaret River Hockey Club.

Our senior competition offers a fun, competitive and social environment where players of all abilities can continue developing their hockey while enjoying everything that comes with being part of a great club.

We proudly field Men's, Women's and Masters teams, with many of our players representing the club for years while helping the next generation fall in love with hockey.

Why Play Senior Hockey?

πŸ‘ Enjoy competitive hockey in a friendly and supportive environment.

Competition

Senior teams play throughout the season against clubs from across the South West as part of the Busselton Hockey Association (BHA).

All games are played at the Busselton Hockey Stadium.

Throughout the season our players also have opportunities to participate in:

More Than Just Playing

One of the greatest strengths of our club is the willingness of members to give back.

Many of our senior players also volunteer as:

Interested in Coaching or Umpiring?

If you've ever thought about helping out but aren't quite sure where to start, Hockey Australia and Hockey WA provide a range of excellent online education resources, coaching courses and umpiring development programs to help build your confidence.

Whether you're brushing up on the rules, learning coaching techniques or taking your first steps into umpiring, there are plenty of resources available to support you.

Our club is always happy to help you find the right pathway.

A Club Built by Volunteers

Margaret River Hockey Club is proudly run by volunteers.

From coaching and team management to fundraising, committee roles and maintaining our facilities, every member who lends a hand helps create the positive club culture we enjoy today.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to make new friends, learn new skills and help shape the future of hockey in Margaret River.

No matter how much time you can give, every contribution is valued.
