Join Our Committee!
We’re looking to fill several committee roles this season. If you’re interested in getting involved in the running of the club and helping improve the experience for our players and members, we’d love to hear from you.
The committee meets once a month for around 90 minutes (with drinks and nibbles!) to share updates, plan activities, and support each other in delivering a great season.
We have some exciting plans ahead, so if you’d like to meet new people and help shape the future of the club, please get involved.
Thanks

Vacant Position
Help bring our fundraising and community events to life! Throughout the year we run activities like BBQs, Lions Shed Sale volunteering, and local event support to raise funds for equipment, coaching clinics, and ongoing club development. This fundraising ensures we don’t have to pass extra costs onto our players and families.
In this role you coordinate volunteers, making sure events run smoothly. You’ll have strong committee support, access to past event plans, and help promoting opportunities through our club networks and social media.
It’s a great way to meet new people, connect with the local community, and be part of a fantastic team supporting the future of our club.

Vacant Position
Help manage our club merchandise on training nights. Orders are placed online, so there’s no cash handling—the role simply involves checking orders and handing out labelled items to players and families.
It’s a great way to meet new members, support club fundraising, and help everyone proudly wear our club colours. Committee support is provided, and the role can be shared with another parent if needed.
Most orders happen in the first six weeks of the season, and it usually takes about an hour on training nights. If you can spare a little time each week, this role is for you!

Vacant Position
Help keep our training nights running smoothly by coordinating our BBQ and catering supplies. Thanks to our partnership with Woolworths Margaret River, this role involves collecting weekly supplies, dropping them at Hockey HQ, and making sure fridges are stocked and the space stays tidy.
You may also help organise a few volunteers to run the BBQ on training nights, ensuring our players and families can enjoy some hot food after training.
The role takes around an hour a week during the season, can be shared with other parents, and makes a big difference to our club’s fundraising and community atmosphere.

If you enjoy delegating, encouraging younger players to lend a hand, and having a social chat with your club mates, this role is perfect for you!

We’re looking for someone to help organise a few club social events during the season — including the Stronger Together event, Busy Bee, Wind-Up, and a few casual catch-ups along the way.
With senior teams having a few double headers and a Masters team that enjoys a good social, we’d love someone who can set a few dates and help bring players, supporters and new members together off the pitch as well as on it.
You’ll have committee support and help promoting events through social media and team chats — we just need someone with the initiative to get a few things organised.
Can you help? 🎉

Alicia Pawelski currently manages this role alongside her duties as Registrar, and we’re looking for someone to help take it on.
The role involves posting updates to our social media pages, and if you’re keen, helping with our monthly Mailchimp newsletter and the occasional local newspaper article.
Our teams will send through photos, results and stories — we just need someone to share them with our community.
About 1 hour per week
If you enjoy social media, marketing or being creative, we’d love to hear from you!
