🎉 It's Carnival Time!
Calling all our Hookin2Hockey and Years 3–6 players...
It's your turn to get the face paint out and join in the carnival fun!
The older kids had to travel to Bunbury for their carnival, but this one is much closer to home — Busselton is calling!
Margaret River Hockey Club is planning to enter three teams, but we need to know who's keen as soon as possible. Please let your team manager know (and they can keep our Junior Coordinator - Rachel updated on our numbers). We need to confirm numbers by Tuesday, 12 August, so we can finalise team nominations (and register additional teams if needed).
Carnival Details

The Fuel to Go & Play Hookin2Hockey Carnival is all about fun, teamwork and maximum participation through small-sided games.
Age Groups
🏑 Years 1–2 – 5-a-side
🏑 Years 3–4 Gold – 7-a-side (For players and teams who are new to hockey.)
🏑 Years 5–6 – Mixed 7-a-side (optional goalkeeper)
Games are 15 minutes long, with a 5-minute break between games. (Final start and finish times will be confirmed once the fixtures are released.)
💛 Show Your Club Colours!
We'll have a Margaret River Hockey Club team tent set up, so come along wearing your club colours and add a bit of carnival spirit with:
Teal and yellow face paint
Hair ribbons
Fun team accessories
Let's make our club tent the most colourful one there!
A Few Things to Know
Each team will need a guide/umpire for their games. (If you’re in Year 7-12 and you’re keen to help out let Rachel know!)
The club will cover the $75 team nomination fee.
