Coaching Workshops being planned

Wally and Stu have been working hard behind the scenes and have plans to run a series of workshops for anyone interested in coaching or being an assistant coach this season. Parents / players (inc mature high school students) can learn and develop skills to be confident in teaching our young players the hockey basics, working together to improve their techniques.

The workshops will be following Hockey Australia Community, Club and Development Framework pathways, which includes online training techniques. Sharing this knowledge and running through this TOGETHER, ensures that our coaches will have support as we grow the club together.

To start the season, Stu is looking at running two coaching sessions (Mon 12th Feb & Mon 26th Feb 5.00 pm - 7.00 pm) from Hockey HQ. Before the coaching session on 12th Feb, please complete the online Community Coaching Essential Skills course (8 modules - approx 3 hours) - it’s Free
