Our Annual General Meeting will be held on

Thursday 11th December @7.30 pm at the Hockey Turf

Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Member Information

The purpose of the AGM is to provide members with an overview of the club’s activities and finances from the past year, to allow time for questions, and to elect members to the club’s governing body — the Board (Executive Committee).

The AGM is an important opportunity for members to engage with the Board, ask questions, and share their views or concerns.

Calling for Nominations

ELECTION TO THE BOARD

The Club Secretary is calling for nominations for the following positions:

  • Chairperson / President

  • Vice President

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • Board Member (Operations Manager)

Please submit your nomination by Thursday 27th November – before midday.

Non-Executive Committee Roles

Our club also has a Non-Executive Committee that supports the development and day-to-day running of the club. Although these positions are not elected at the AGM, we aim to establish these roles early so both Board and Committee members can work together efficiently heading into next season.

If you are interested in getting more involved or volunteering your time next season, please contact Annika, our Club Secretary, at admin@margaretriverhockey.org.au to discuss further.

When everyone contributes where they can, we strengthen the club and our community.
